111-year-old British Man Takes Title as World’s Oldest Man

John Alfred Tinniswood, a 111-year-old British man from Liverpool, has been officially recognized as the world’s oldest man by Guinness World Records. This title was previously held by Juan Vicente Pérez Mora from Venezuela, who passed away just before his 115th birthday. Another contender for the title, Gisaburo Sonobe from Japan, was confirmed to have died at the age of 112.

Tinniswood attributes his long life to a combination of luck, regular exercise, and a weekly tradition of fish and chips. He maintains a healthy lifestyle without following any specific diet and avoids smoking and excessive drinking. Living a long life is ultimately a matter of luck, according to him, but there’s only so much one can control.

At the age of 111, Tinniswood remains an active individual, emphasizing the importance of balance in maintaining good health. His positive attitude and outlook on life have been recognized by those around him, making him an inspirational figure for many.
