Sports Illustrated selects Andrew Thomas as a possible first-time Pro Bowler

Sports Illustrated recently named ten potential first-time Pro Bowlers for the 2024 season. Among those listed was Giants franchise left tackle Andrew Thomas, who has shown his dominance on the field despite being limited to just 10 games last season due to a hamstring injury.

Thomas allowed just four sacks and 17 total pressures on 376 pass-blocking snaps in his return to the field, earning him the 10th-highest pass block grade among all offensive tackles in 2023 according to Pro Football Focus. The fourth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Thomas has started all but one of the 55 games he has played in his first four seasons in the league and took a significant step forward in his development during the 2022 campaign, surrendering just three sacks and 21 pressures on 619 pass-blocking snaps. This earned him second-team All-Pro honors and a spot on PFF’s list of the top 25 players under 25.
