The New ROG Ally X Console: A Gaming Revolution with Improved Battery Life, Enhanced Performance, and an Ergonomic Design

Introducing the New Asus ROG Ally X Console: Double Battery Capacity, Enhanced Ergonomic Design, and 24GB RAM

Asus has unveiled the new ROG Ally X console at the Computex 2024 annual computing fair in Taipei, Taiwan. The updated version of the original ROG Ally features a doubled battery capacity of 80Wh, an increased RAM memory of 24GB, and a more ergonomic design with improved joysticks and durability.

The new console offers longer playtime without interruptions due to the doubled battery capacity. The RAM memory has been upgraded to 24GB LPDDR5X-7500, providing more bandwidth compared to the original hardware. Storage capacity has also been increased to 1TB PCIe Gen 4 with M.2 2280 support.

In terms of design, the ROG Ally X has a more ergonomic finish that enhances comfort during gameplay. The joystick and button placement has been optimized for easier access, and the D-Pad has been improved for more precision. The console’s weight has increased slightly but maintains a balanced distribution for comfort while playing.

The new console features improved connection capabilities with two USB-C ports, one of which has Thunderbolt connectivity. The cooling system has been upgraded with a ‘Zero Gravity Thermal Solution’ that uses ultra-thin fans to improve airflow by 24% and cool the console by up to six degrees more.

The ROG Ally X retains features like the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor and a 7-inch 120Hz Full HD screen. It also allows for running Windows 11
