The Future of Plastics: NPE Showcases Cutting-Edge Extrusion Technology

The NPE: The Plastics Show, held at the Shikora CenterWave, is a premier plastics trade exhibition in the Americas. With over 2,000 exhibitors on display, it’s no wonder that the show floor is a destination for discovering cutting-edge plastic processing technology.

One of the newest technology in extrusion being showcased on the show floor are innovative designs from Guill Tool. Their cam lock feature and rotary die are sure to impress attendees. Conair is also introducing their ProfileMaster line of downstream profile extrusion processing equipment, catering to both small and large profiles.

Sikora will be showcasing state-of-the-art equipment tailored to meet the high standards of the hose, tube, and pipe extrusion industries. Reel Power Industrial has introduced an Automatic Cut and Transfer system (ACT-26) designed for coiling and spooling at speeds of up to 1,000 feet per minute.

Addex is unveiling their first-ever blown film air ring with a single-inlet plenum design. Brueckner Group USA is introducing new local services for film-stretching lines and digitalization solutions. Hosokawa Alpine American is highlighting advancements in blown film extrusion, including a U.S. showcase of the VarDAR Upper Cooling Air Ring. Milacron is showcasing an updated extruder, control, and die head packages, along with demonstrations of how cobots can automate pipe production.

Versa Machinery’s Caterpillar pullers are designed to pull pliable materials without causing deformation, while Processing Technologies International (PTi) is displaying their eG-Series Roll Stand for the first time at this year’s NPE: The Plastics Show at Shikora CenterWave
