The Escalating Conflict Between Israel and Palestine: A Heartrending Account of the Thousands of Lives Lost in Gaza”.

Over 30 deaths and 40 injuries reported in Gaza in the last 24 hours, says Health Ministry

The ongoing conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Authority has resulted in the deaths of thousands of individuals in Gaza. According to a report from the Gaza Ministry of Health, which is affiliated with Hamas, 34,654 people have been killed since hostilities began on October 7. In the last 24 hours alone, 32 individuals lost their lives, with 77,908 sustaining injuries of varying degrees of severity, 41 of whom were injured in the last 24 hours.

Despite the information provided by the Gaza Ministry of Health, it cannot be independently verified due to its affiliation with Hamas. The World Health Organization (WHO) has stated multiple times that it cannot authenticate or refute the accuracy of the data regarding casualties presented by this ministry.

On the other hand, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have reported that numerous militants connected to terrorist organizations are being eliminated daily in Gaza. Since the commencement of the conflict, approximately 14,000 members of these groups, including their leaders, have been killed in Gaza. Hamas itself has acknowledged the deaths of around 6,000 of its fighters.

However, it is important to note that many individuals perish due to causes not directly linked to military activities carried out by Israel in Gaza. This includes civilians who are caught up in crossfire and those who die due to other causes such as lack of basic necessities like water and medical care.

According to reports from Israel’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs (MFA), Hamas is responsible for targeting civilians and using them as human shields during military operations. This practice has led to an increase in civilian casualties and violates international law’s principles protecting non-combatants during wartime.
