Tennessee’s Upcoming College World Series Opponent Scheduled for Wednesday

In the rematch that will take place in Omaha on Wednesday afternoon, Tennessee and Florida State will face off. The No. 1 national seed, Tennessee, will face the No. 8 national seed, Florida State in a rematch. The first pitch is tentatively scheduled for 3 p.m. ET, depending on weather conditions and the outcome of the Kentucky and Florida elimination game, which was postponed to Wednesday morning at 11 am ET. Texas A&M remains undefeated and in control of bracket two as they continue to fight for their spot in the championship series.

The Volunteers are aiming for their first appearance in the College World Series Championship Series, which will determine the National Title in a best-of-three series.
