Trump Calls for Biden to Take Cognitive Test Amid Doctor Name Confusion

During a recent convention in Detroit, former President Donald Trump accused President Joe Biden of being mentally unfit, referencing the cognitive test he himself took in 2018, which showed no mental ability issues. However, Trump mistakenly referred to Texas Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson as “Doc. Ronny Johnson,” who was the White House physician during part of Trump’s presidency. Jackson had previously stated that Trump was the healthiest president in history after administering the cognitive test.

Meanwhile, at the G7 summit, a video circulated on social media showing President Biden appearing to wander off from leaders while they were discussing important global issues. However, it was later revealed that the video was cropped and did not show the full context of what happened. In fact, Biden had simply turned to face a skydiver who had just landed nearby. Despite this clarification, the video continued to be widely shared on right-wing media platforms as part of an ongoing narrative about Biden’s cognitive abilities.

In response to Trump’s birthday earlier this year, the Biden campaign issued a statement listing 78 things that Trump had done wrong throughout his presidency, including references to his felony convictions.
