The Badgers are Back: Wisconsin Extends Offer to Star Tight End Jack Janda as they Look to Boost 2026 Class

Wisconsin football recruits top-ranked class of 2026 tight end

The Wisconsin Badgers have extended a scholarship to tight end Jack Janda from the class of 2026, the latest offensive player to receive an offer from the team. As the Badgers turn their attention to recruiting for the 2026 cycle, Janda is among a group of talented recruits who have recently received offers from Wisconsin. He joins running back Jaeden Hill, wide receivers Madden Williams, Kennan and Jarod Pula, athlete Jakob Weatherspoon and others in receiving an offer from the Badgers.

Janda is a 6-foot-6, 230-pound three-star recruit who hails from Catholic Central High School in Michigan and is ranked as the No. 24 tight end, No. 9 recruit in Michigan and No. 426 overall recruit for his class by 247Sports. He has also received offers from several other top college football programs including Miami, Michigan, Oregon, Purdue, Illinois, Cincinnati and Kentucky. Although there is strong competition for his services, it’s predicted that he will ultimately choose Michigan with heavy indications that he will commit to the Wolverines. With this offer, Wisconsin has now extended a total of 13 scholarships to tight ends in the class of 2026.

Luke Fickell’s current 2025 class is currently ranked No. 6 in the nation by Rivals with a total of 19 players committed so far. This shows that Wisconsin continues to be a force to be reckoned with when it comes to college football recruiting.
