On Monday, Neil Robertson advanced to the final qualifying round for the World Snooker Championship. This marks the first time since 2006 that the 2010 world champion has had to qualify, as he has dropped out of the world’s top 16 rankings. The 42-year-old Australian secured a dominant 10-2 victory over Zak Surety in Sheffield.

In another exciting match, Noppon Saengkham impressed by hitting a maximum 147 break. This was the second time in his career that the Thai number one achieved this feat. Saengkham defeated Andy Hicks 10-5 and will now face Jackson Page of Wales for a chance to compete in the main tournament at the Crucible, which begins on Saturday.

Robertson, currently ranked 24th, showed his skill and experience against Surety, leading 7-2 after their first session. With breaks of 90 and 117, he quickly sealed his victory and set up a match against Jamie Jones or Alfie Burden in the final qualifying round. The competition is heating up as players fight for a coveted spot in the World Snooker Championship.

Noppon Saengkham continued to shine in snooker as he hit a perfect break of 147 against Andy Hicks during another thrilling match on Monday.

This marks only the second time in his career that Saengkham has achieved this impressive feat.

The Thai player secured a hard-fought victory over Hicks with a scoreline of 10-5 and will now face off against Jackson Page from Wales in an upcoming match for a spot in the main tournament at The Crucible.
