Tensions Rising: Azerbaijan Accuses Armenia of Shelling Its Positions in Nakhijevan

Baku once again reports firing at enemy positions.

Azerbaijan has accused the Armenian armed forces of shooting at its positions in Nakhijevan once again. The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan issued a statement claiming that shells were fired from positions near Vedi. This accusation follows a similar statement made earlier today by Azerbaijan, which was denied by the Armenian military department.

Despite conflicting reports, there has been no official response to Azerbaijan’s accusations from the Armenian side as of yet. Observers from the European Union have also stated that they did not witness any unusual movement or incidents on the border with Azerbaijan.

The situation remains tense as both countries continue to exchange allegations and monitor the situation closely. It is unclear what will happen next, but one thing is certain: this latest incident has only added to the ongoing tensions between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
