Tennessee Baseball Rescheduled for ESPN: Vols Facing Florida State or North Carolina in College World Series

The Wednesday College World Series game time for Tennessee baseball has been adjusted

Due to inclement weather, Tennessee’s baseball game in the College World Series on Wednesday has been rescheduled to start at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN. The Vols will face either Florida State or North Carolina in this upcoming matchup.

On Tuesday, the game between Florida and Kentucky was delayed until Wednesday morning due to expected bad weather, causing a ripple effect that pushed back Tennessee’s game as well. Despite the delays, this marks the first time in program history that the Vols have opened the College World Series with a 2-0 record, defeating both Florida State 12-11 and North Carolina 6-1.

If Tennessee wins their next game, they will advance to the best-of-three championship series. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
