LoadSmart’s Vice President of Digital Sales, Casey Monahan, was a featured speaker at FreightWaves’ 3PL Summit on Wednesday. During a fireside chat with Grace Sharkey, Monahan discussed the importance of small carriers to LoadSmart and how technology can help these fleets grow.

Load matching was identified as a significant challenge in the industry, with Monahan acknowledging that while filters can be applied to load boards, finding the perfect freight remains difficult. Monahan expressed LoadSmart’s goal of assisting carriers in expanding their fleets, from five trucks to 25 trucks and beyond.

Monahan also discussed LoadSmart’s focus on AI products that simplify data interaction for users. The Copilot product was highlighted as a tool that allows users to ask system questions and retrieve valuable insights easily. LoadSmart is continuously developing new AI products to enhance user experience and provide valuable analytics to carriers.
