Team USA is putting together a star-studded roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics men’s basketball team, which includes some of the generation’s most iconic players. LeBron James of the Lakers, Stephen Curry of the Warriors, Kevin Durant of the Suns, and Joel Embiid of the 76ers are among those selected for the roster.
According to sources, Grant Hill, the managing director of Team USA, has left one roster slot open before the July training camp and exhibition games in Las Vegas. The team is expected to announce the complete 11-man roster soon, which will also feature players like Anthony Davis of the Lakers, Devin Booker of the Suns, and Jayson Tatum of the Celtics.
The team will be coached by Steve Kerr, who will have the opportunity to coach Curry for the first time in the Olympics. Kerr will also be coaching Durant, who has won three men’s basketball Olympic gold medals, tying him with Carmelo Anthony for the most ever.
