Talented US Ski Cross Team Ready to Take on World Stage at Junior World Championships

The Ski Cross FIS Junior World Championships in Idre Fjäll, Sweden next month will see the USA represented by a talented team of nine athletes. Leading the charge is Morgan Shute, who recently won two medals at the Youth Olympic Games in Korea, and Walker Robinson, a teammate from the silver medal performance in the team event.

Chip Knight, U.S. Ski & Snowboard Alpine Development Director expressed his confidence in the team’s mix of up-and-coming athletes and experienced ski cross veterans. He believes they will perform well against the world’s best at the upcoming event on April 14-15, 2024, which includes both individual and team events.

The roster boasts talented athletes like Molly Hagan, Maggie Swain, Deia Steinmetz, Sullivan Butler, Aiden England, Jack Mitchell, Tanner Murphy and Walker Robinson. These athletes represent a strong group of ski cross competitors with diverse backgrounds and skill sets all aiming for success at the upcoming championships.

With their passion for skiing and determination to succeed on a global stage, these athletes are expected to make their country proud as they compete against some of the best junior ski cross athletes in the world.
