Talented Recruit Kyler Garcia Sheds Light on Wisconsin’s 2025 Defensive Line Depth

Wisconsin locks in official visit with defensive lineman Kyler Garcia for 2025

Rising senior Kyler Garcia, a three-star recruit from Pearl-Cohn High School in Nashville, Tennessee, has scheduled a visit to Wisconsin for the weekend of June 14. The Badgers extended an offer to Garcia on May 22.

Garcia is ranked as the No. 109 player at his position in the class of 2025 and the No. 27 recruit from Tennessee by 247Sports. So far, he has received 14 Division I offers, including from schools like Arkansas, Indiana, Louisville, Purdue, and Vanderbilt.

Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 275 pounds, Garcia was part of his school’s state championship team in 2023. Wisconsin’s 2025 recruiting class currently does not have a committed defensive lineman. The team’s defensive line depth chart for the upcoming season includes players like James Thompson Jr., Curt Neal, and Brandon Lane – a flipped transfer commit from Louisville.

Despite predictions from both On3 and Rivals that Garcia is likely to choose Rutgers, the lineman still has time to make his decision. Ultimately, the talented recruit will have to choose where he will continue his football career.
