Tajikistan Warns Citizens Against Traveling to Russia

Russia’s response to the fire incident at the Moscow concert hall has led to a ban on travel to the country, advised by Tajikistan’s foreign minister Sirodjidin Muhriddin. He urged citizens to avoid traveling to Russia unless it is absolutely necessary. The decision was made after Russia arrested individuals allegedly connected to the fire incident, claiming they were from Tajikistan. In a separate incident, nine suspects were also arrested in Tajikistan in relation to the same case.

The attack at the Moscow concert hall resulted in over 130 deaths and was claimed by Isis, with some suspects identified as citizens of Tajikistan. The terrorist organization Isis-K reportedly carried out the attack on Central Asia’s branch. Despite these developments, travelers are urged to exercise caution when considering travel to Russia due to ongoing investigations and security concerns surrounding the incident that have led to heightened tensions between the two countries. It is essential for travelers to stay informed and prioritize their safety above all else as the situation continues to unfold.
