Swings for Science, Birdies for Blankets: Join Us for a Second Year Supporting Local Non-Profits with Fun-Filled Weekend Activities

The S.P.A.R.K.S. Foundation is thrilled to announce the upcoming Swings for Science, Birdies for Blankets event at Sittler Golf in Sinking Spring. This family-friendly event will take place from June 7 to June 9, offering three days of fun and activities for attendees of all ages.

The event will feature a mini golf tournament, mini golf challenges, driving range contests, delicious food, ice cream, beer trucks, raffles, science experiments, and more. From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day, there will be a variety of engaging activities to enjoy.

One of the highlights of the weekend will be the second annual Oakbrook Open presented by Oakbrook Brewing on Saturday night at 6:30 p.m., where cash prizes will be awarded to the top competitors. Registration is required for the mini-golf tournament but all other activities are open to the public for free admission!

In addition to the fun and games, the event will also offer hands-on science projects for youth, combining education with entertainment as they learn about STEM subjects while having fun! Proceeds from this event go towards supporting the SPARKS Foundation and Blankets of Hope Berks in their community initiatives that benefit children in need.

Whether you’re participating in the mini golf tournament or simply making a donation through raffle tickets or ice cream vouchers for kids; there are plenty of ways for attendees to get involved and support these worthy causes while enjoying discounted treats from Big Bertha’s Grill!
