In 2023, Croatia saw a four percent increase in the number of registered road vehicles, with a total of 2,554,524 vehicles on the roads. Of these, 1,910,131 were passenger vehicles, showing a growth of 3.8 percent from the previous year. One notable increase was seen in motorcycles, which experienced an uptick of 42.3 percent and brought the total number of motorcycles on Croatian roads to 101,515 by the end of the year. Similarly, trucks saw a significant increase in first-time registrations with a growth rate of 36.6 percent and a total of 221,006 trucks on the roads by the end of the year. Road tractors also experienced an uptick in first-time registrations with a growth rate of 29.3 percent and a total of 16,504 tractors on Croatian roads by the end of the year.
