This weekend, Park City is set to host its first Summer Race Series event of the season on Thursday from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m. The event is open to bikers ages seven and up, with a cost of $5 for members and $20 for guests. All skill levels are welcome, and riders will be separated into male and female age groups of 7-13, 14-17, and 18+. There will be a practice session before the timed runs start at 5:45, with additional races scheduled for July 25, Aug. 19, and Sept. 26.
Meanwhile, Deer Valley Resort is now offering a scenic chairlift promotion, with kids riding free with the purchase of an adult ticket. Adult and senior roundtrip tickets are $10, while unlimited access tickets are $20. It is recommended to purchase tickets online in advance due to on-mountain capacity limits. The chairlifts operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through Labor Day and on weekends until Sept. 22.
