Columbia University journalism graduate student Gillian Goodman, along with Prem Thakker, a politics reporter for The Intercept, discuss the campus protests against Israel’s actions in Gaza on a special episode of Intercepted. Thakker provides insight into the students’ demands for schools to sever financial ties with Israel and weapons manufacturers. This makes the college one of only a few in the US to reach such an agreement with protesting students.
