Stay Safe in Storms: Science Museum Oklahoma and FOX 25 Join Forces for Weather Education

FOX 25 partners with Science Museum Oklahoma to host Storm Safety Day

This Saturday, the Science Museum Oklahoma and FOX 25 are joining forces to educate residents about weather-related safety. From 10 A.M. to 3 P.M., Storm Safety Day will be held at the museum, featuring live shows hosted by FOX 25’s Chief Meteorologist, Jack Gerfen, at 11 A.M., 1 P.M., and 3 P.M. Visitors can also participate in hands-on science experiences led by SMO’s museum educators, exploring topics such as wind, electricity, and air pressure.

In addition to the live shows and science experiments, there will be activity and information tables staffed by the National Weather Service, Oklahoma City’s Office of Emergency Management, and the American Red Cross. These tables will provide valuable information on how to prepare for severe weather conditions and stay safe during storms.

All activities and demonstrations are free with admission to the museum. To receive more local news directly to your inbox, sign up for FOX 25’s daily newsletter by clicking here.
