Spring sports are finally making their way to Michigan, and teams in the Jackson area are eager to kick off their games in baseball, softball, and soccer.
In baseball, there are several matchups scheduled this week including Jackson at Lansing Eastern, Homer at Pennfield, and Napoleon at Western. Teams like Lumen Christi, Battle Creek Central, East Jackson, Olivet, and Stockbridge will be facing off against various opponents as well.
Softball games include Homer at Pennfield, Napoleon at Western, East Jackson at Concord, and Stockbridge at Dansville. Teams like Olivet, Addison, and Michigan Center are also set to play their first games of the season.
In soccer, Pioneer will be playing Jackson, Northwest will face off against Hanover-Horton, Leslie will take on Western, Quincy will play Grass Lake
