Buffalo Hill Ladies: A Tale of Valley Sports

On Tuesday, April 30, the Valley Sports Golf Buffalo Hill Tuesday Night Ladies League held a Scramble event at the Cameron Nine course. The participating teams included Dickey’s BBQ, Glacier Bank, Moose’s Saloon, Ortho Rehab, Les Schwab – Center St, Envoy Mortgage, Glass Doctor, Marsh McLennan Agency, CityService Valon, Pettyjohn’s Water Store, TreeLine Creative and Corwin Auto.

During the event, several flag prizes were awarded to participants. June Benson from Les Schwab – Center St won the Closest to Pin prize on hole #1. Katie Wells from Dickey’s BBQ won the Long Putt prize on hole #2. Brenda Evans from Dickey’s BBQ won the Closest to Pin in 2 prize on hole #3. Ashley Wenz from Ortho Rehab won the Closest to Pin in 2 prize on hole #4. Margie Jones from Marsh McLennan Agency won the Long Putt prize on hole #5. Amanda Guy from Ortho Rehab won the Long Drive prize on hole #6. Katie Wells from Dickey’s BBQ won the Closest to Pin prize on hole #7. Maura Hamilton won the Long Drive prize on hole #8. Debbie Hadley from Moose’s Saloon won the Long Putt prize on hole #9.

The scramble was a huge success with many teams participating and having a great time together while competing for prizes.

The Valley Sports Golf Buffalo Hill Tuesday Night Ladies League is a great way for women in the community to come together and enjoy golf while also competing against each other in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

With so many teams participating in this event it is clear that golf is popular among women in this community and they are always looking for ways to improve their skills while having fun at it!
