Spring Break Continues for School-Based Health Center in Carson City

Carson City School-Based Health Center remains open during spring break

The School-Based Health Center, a collaboration between Nevada Health Centers and the Carson City School District, will continue to operate during spring break. Located at 612 W. Musser Street, the center is situated behind Gleason School at 604 W. Musser. The center’s hours of operation are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a lunch break from 12-1 p.m. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 800-787-2568.

The health center caters to Carson City families with school-aged children and offers various services including preventive health and wellness, well child checks, sick visits, sports physicals, immunizations, and health management. Payment sources accepted at the center include private insurance, Medicaid and Medicare, Nevada Check Up, Women’s Health Connection, and a sliding fee scale for low-income uninsured patients.
