In recent news, the Austin-Bailey Health and Wellness Foundation has approved grants totaling $172,100 for 11 nonprofit organizations in Holmes, Stark, Tuscarawas, and Wayne counties. These grants support programs that promote physical and mental well-being among residents in the area. In addition to these grants, the foundation also provides $43,000 in scholarships to students studying health-related subjects at local universities.

The Austin-Bailey Health and Wellness Foundation offers two grant cycles each year to organizations working in health and wellness. The most recent cycle saw a variety of nonprofits receive funding, including the American Red Cross for blood drives, Ascend Services for recovery through peer support, Aultman College for radiography equipment, and many others. Other recipients include Beacon Charitable Pharmacy, Feed Kids First, The Grace Project, Heart of Ohio Diaper Bank, Malone University, Trinity United Church of Christ
