These grants support programs that promote physical and mental well-being among residents in the area. In addition to these grants, the foundation also provides $43,000 in scholarships to students studying health-related subjects at local universities.
The Austin-Bailey Health and Wellness Foundation offers two grant cycles each year to organizations working in health and wellness. The most recent cycle saw a variety of nonprofits receive funding, including the American Red Cross for blood drives, Ascend Services for recovery through peer support, Aultman College for radiography equipment, and many others.
