John Kincade is a well-known commentator on Philadelphia sports, hosting the Kincade and Salciunas show on 97.5 The Fanatic on WPEN FM. However, when he’s not discussing sports, he’s advocating for funding cancer research, a cause that’s close to his heart as cancer treatment has saved his life three times.
Kincade expressed gratitude towards the medical team that cared for him, specifically mentioning Henry Schoonyoung at Main Line Health who performed surgery on him last May. This week, Kincade received good news that he is now six months cancer-free with no trace of the disease in his latest blood test.
In addition to sharing his story, Kincade is also involved with The Ahmad Butler Foundation which donates laptops to children’s hospitals in the area. These laptops help children stay connected with education and entertainment during their hospital stays.
It’s clear that John Kincade is not only a voice in the Philadelphia sports community but also a passionate advocate for cancer research and supporting children in need. His personal experiences have inspired him to give back and make a difference in the lives of others.
