The Sports Medicine Report, presented by Children’s Mercy Kansas City, provides an update on the health of the team ahead of the upcoming match against the Portland Timbers at Children’s Mercy Park. According to the league’s official Player Status Report submitted the day before the game, Sporting has only three players listed as questionable or out for the match. Khiry Shelton is listed as questionable, while Logan Ndenbe and Johnny Russell remain out.
The game will be played on Saturday at 12:45 p.m. CT (12:55 p.m. CT actual kick) and will be nationally televised on FOX and FOX Deportes. It can also be streamed for free in English and Spanish on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. Locally, Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and La Grande 1340 AM (Spanish) will broadcast the game.
