The Beal Botanical Garden is partnering with MSU Recreational Sports and Fitness Services, University Health and Wellbeing, Student Life & Engagement, to host free yoga sessions this summer. The goal of this initiative is to provide health and well-being opportunities for Spartans to feel their best, as stated by University Health and Wellbeing Communications Director Courtney Placinta.
Participants do not need to register in advance for each session. Instead, they are advised to bring water, a yoga mat or towel, and dress appropriately for the weather. In case of inclement weather, cancellations will be communicated through social media. The yoga sessions will take place under the ginkgo tree in the garden throughout the season.
The sessions are divided into three parts: Summer I includes sessions on May 28, June 11, 18, and 25; Summer II includes sessions on July 9, 16
