It is designed to be set up in a matter of minutes and is IP67 certified for resistance to dust and water.

Elon Musk, the owner of SpaceX, personally set up one of these antennas in less than five minutes. The Starlink Mini is a lightweight device that weighs only 1.10 kg and can be carried in a backpack. It supports WiFi 5 and features an Ethernet LAN port with an energy consumption of 25-40W on average.

The compact receiver can withstand temperatures from -30 to 50 degrees Celsius, covers an area of up to 112 square meters, and requires a minimum power supply of 100W. The rectangular design measures 298.5 mm high, 259 mm wide, and 38.5 mm deep.

The Starlink Mini is currently available as a kit that includes a power supply, a 15-meter DC cable, a Starlink adapter, and a support stand. Some customers have already received invitations to purchase the device at $599 price tag, which Elon Musk announced will cost about half the price of the standard satellite dish and monthly subscription when rolled out in selected markets in the coming months. However, specific details about the launch markets have not been disclosed yet.
