Southeast Bulloch High School STEM Club Triumphs as State Champions in Georgia Science Olympiad

SEB High School Team Emerges Victorious at GA Science Olympiad Championship

The Southeast Bulloch High School STEM Club has achieved remarkable success as the Class A state champion for the Georgia Science Olympiad. The competition took place on March 30 at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where the club’s members excelled in 14 out of the 24 individual events.

The students’ achievements include eight first-place finishes, two second-place medals, and four third-place medals. Danielle Hibbs-Heiser, a science teacher at Southeast Bulloch and the STEM Club coach, commended the students for their exceptional accomplishment. She recognized their hard work and dedication towards enhancing their knowledge in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

The Georgia Science Olympiad offers students an engaging platform to collaborate and improve their skills in various STEM disciplines. Open to students from grades 3 to 12, it provides multiple competitions throughout the school year to keep participants motivated and passionate about STEM education.
