Some Nations Abstain from Signing Ukraine Peace Resolution Declaration at International Summit

The final declaration of the conference on Ukraine was not signed by Armenia

During the peace summit in Switzerland, a declaration regarding the conflict in Ukraine was adopted. However, not all of the participating countries have signed this declaration. Nations such as Armenia, India, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Indonesia and others did not endorse the document.

Armen Grigoryan, the Security Council Secretary of Armenia, was present at the “Ukraine Peace Resolution Summit”. The communique, signed by 80 countries, emphasized Ukraine’s “territorial integrity” as the foundation for any peace agreement with Russia to end the ongoing war.

The declaration made clear that the war in Ukraine led by Russia has caused significant human suffering and destruction. Achieving lasting peace in Ukraine requires the cooperation and involvement of all parties involved in the conflict. The resolution underscored the importance of a comprehensive and inclusive approach to resolving the crisis.
