Proponents of Oatzempic claim that drinking this smoothie every morning can help you lose 40 pounds in just two months. Registered dietitian and weight management coordinator Jenny Reay at OSF HealthCare warns that while the smoothie may help you feel full for a few hours until your next meal, there is no scientific evidence to support the claim of significant weight loss in such a short period of time. Reay also notes that when compared to meal replacement shakes, the key ingredients like protein, fiber, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals are missing in the Oatzempic trend.
