Small Businesses Across the Country Celebrated During National Week
The Southwest Economic Development Alliance is hosting a series of events in Lake Charles, Louisiana as part of National Small Business Development Week. This week celebrates the hard work, dedication, and economic contributions of small businesses across the country.
On Monday, April 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., David Minton, owner of Pentangeli Row Development Group and Cypress Group, will be the keynote speaker at the Incubator of SWLA Showcase. He will discuss starting a business, growing a business, and managing success. Food will be provided, and RSVP is required for this event.
On Tuesday, April 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Business Roundtable on “Money: Finding, Managing and Growing this Resource in a Small Business Environment” will take place at no cost to the public.
Wednesday, May 1 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., features a panel moderated by Incubator Program Participant and owner of 3 Light Services, Amy Vincent at the Business Roundtable on “Successfully Recruiting, Training and Retaining Talent in Southwest Louisiana – It Can Be Done!” The panelists include Adam Carter from Prosperity Management and Christa Girard from RECON with this event also being free to attend for anyone interested in learning more about this topic
