North Oaks Health System Presents Bunko for Basketball Event on May 3

Southeastern Louisiana University’s women’s basketball program is being supported by North Oaks Health System through a fundraiser event called Bunko for Basketball. The event will take place on Friday, May 3 at the SLU War Memorial Student Union Ballroom. The evening will begin with dinner at 6 p.m., followed by Bunko games at 7 p.m. There will also be raffles, prizes, and a silent auction with a Green and Gold theme.

Tickets for the event are currently available for purchase online at www.LionSports.net/bunko2024 or at the LAA office in the Dugas Center for Southeastern Athletics, as well as from members of the women’s basketball coaching staff and PRIDE. Admission at the door on the day of the event will be $50.

All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the Green and Gold Coaches Club, which helps fund programs and initiatives for SLU women’s basketball. This year’s event marks its 12th edition, and head coach Ayla Guzzardo expressed how important it is to raise funds for the program through events like this one that allow supporters to have fun while getting to know the players and coaches better.
