Sisters Leading the Way: A Visit to Mexico Brings Hope and Support through Ministering Efforts”.

Sisters Yee, Browning, and Spannaus serve both the public health and spiritual needs of the Saints in Mexico – Deseret News.

On a recent ministering trip to Guadalajara, Mexico from June 6-9, three general presidents of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints engaged in various activities aimed at serving and supporting the local community. Sisters Kristin M. Yee of the Relief Society general presidency, Tracy Y. Browning of the Primary general presidency, and Andrea Muñoz Spannaus of the Young Women general presidency all took part in this trip.

One of the highlights of their visit was a trip to Hospital Civil de Guadalajara on June 7, where Sister Yee had a meeting with hospital officials to discuss the needs of the organization and explore potential collaborations between the hospital and the Church. Afterward, Sister Yee spent time offering comfort and support to patients and their families, showing care and compassion for those in need.

In addition to their visit to the hospital, the sisters also met with the Mexican Diabetes Association and local Church members during their time in Guadalajara. These meetings allowed them to connect with different organizations and communities, providing support and encouragement to those they encountered.
