Sierra Vista students triumph at Science Olympiad

For the third consecutive year, students from Sierra Vista Middle School have emerged victorious at the state Science Olympiad Championship Tournament. This achievement has earned them the prestigious title of Southern California Science Olympiad Champions.

The tournament took place in April at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, where student teams from all over the state gathered to compete in various science, technology, and engineering events. The competition was fierce, but the Sierra Vista team managed to come out on top once again.

In the high school division, teams from Northwood and University High Schools placed second and third, respectively. This goes to show the strong competition that the Sierra Vista team faced in order to secure their victory.

The Sierra Vista team consists of 19 students who worked tirelessly to prepare for the tournament. Their hard work paid off, as they will now move on to compete in the Science Olympiad National Tournament, which will be held this month at Michigan State University. This event will bring together the best teams from across the country, and the Sierra Vista team is ready to represent California and defend their title.
