Showdown in the East: Atlanta Hawks and Indiana Pacers Battle for Victory on Sunday

The Atlanta Hawks (36-45, 10th in the Eastern Conference) will be facing off against the Indiana Pacers (46-35, sixth in the Eastern Conference) in Indianapolis on Sunday at 1 p.m. EDT. This will be the fourth time these teams face off this season, with the Hawks winning their last meeting 108-126.

The Pacers have a strong record of 31-20 against Eastern Conference opponents and rank fourth in the NBA with 16.4 fast break points per game, led by Pascal Siakam who averages 3.2. On the other hand, the Hawks are 22-29 in conference matchups and are fifth in the NBA in scoring with 118.4 points per game, shooting at 46.6%.

Indiana averages 122.9 points per game, which is just over two more points than the Hawks allow. The Hawks also make an average of 13.7 three-pointers per game, which is just under three more than the Pacers allow.

Both teams have had mixed results in their last 10 games, with Indiana going 6-4 and Atlanta going 4-6. Injuries include Jackson and Mathurin for Indiana, while Lundy and Matthews are out for Atlanta. It will be interesting to see if either team can put together a complete game and come out on top
