Shocking Violence Among Youth: Investigations and Calls for Better School Safety in France

Four suspects under investigation for fatal attack on 15-year-old near Paris

In France, four suspects are being investigated for the murder of a 15-year-old student, with all suspects remaining in custody, according to the public prosecutor’s office. The suspects include two 20-year-olds, a 17-year-old brother and two other 17-year-olds. An investigation has revealed that the brothers wanted to prevent their younger sister from discussing topics related to sexuality with boys and had ordered several boys not to have contact with her. When they discovered that the victim was freely talking about this topic, they drove to his school and attacked him, resulting in his death in hospital.

This incident marks the second serious attack among students in France this week. In Montpellier, a 13-year-old girl was beaten so badly that she fell into a coma. Three teenagers were arrested in connection with this incident, and investigations into attempted murder were initiated against them. It was found that the victim and the three suspects had insulted each other online before the attack.

In response to these acts of violence, French President Emmanuel Macron spoke out against increasing violence among young people and called for better protection for schools. He emphasized the need to combat such violence and ensure the safety of students.

The incidents have sparked discussions about addressing and preventing violence among youth, with a focus on improving school safety measures. Efforts are being made to understand the root causes of such violence and implement effective solutions to prevent future tragedies.
