A fatal accident near the course has caused the second round of the PGA Championship to be delayed. The PGA Championship announced that Round 2 would start at a later time, with no specific date or time given yet. However, it is expected that an update will be provided at 12pm BST, after which the starting time will be determined.

Originally, the first group was set to tee off at 12:15pm BST, but due to the accident and inclement weather, this has been postponed until at least an hour after the update. The Louisville Metro Police Department has confirmed that a vehicle collision occurred near Valhalla Golf Club, resulting in fatal injuries for an adult male pedestrian who was struck by a shuttle bus while crossing the road. The LMPD Traffic Unit is currently investigating this incident.
