As the 2024-25 NHL season approaches, the Sharks have announced their preseason schedule. The team will kick off against the Las Vegas Golden Knights at SAP Center on Sept. 22, followed by games against the Anaheim Ducks both at home and in Southern California.
The Sharks will then face the Utah Hockey Club at home before taking on the Ducks again, wrapping up the preseason with a road game in Las Vegas on Oct. 5. With the recent selection of top prospect Macklin Celebrini as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft, San Jose is expected to generate heightened interest this season.
Young talent such as Will Smith and William Eklund are also set to feature prominently for the Sharks, promising a more exciting brand of hockey compared to last season’s disappointing finish where they finished at the bottom of the league with only 47 points. As the team enters a new era, fans can look forward to watching their favorite players take to the ice once again on Sept. 22 and marking a new beginning for this exciting journey ahead.
