Sharjah Shines at Arabian Travel Market: Showcasing Tourism and Entrepreneurship

Participation of Sharjah in the Arabian Travel Market with 27 government and private entities

The Emirate of Sharjah is set to participate in the Arabian Travel Market, which will take place from May 6 to 9, 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Center. The theme for this event is “Empowering Innovation… Transforming the Travel Sector through Entrepreneurship.” Under the Sharjah Pavilion, 27 entities from both public and private sectors will be participating.

The focus of Sharjah’s participation will be on showcasing their latest tourism and entertainment projects, as well as discussing future plans for the emirate. They aim to highlight what has solidified Sharjah’s position as a preferred destination for tourists and visitors from all over the world.

The Commerce and Tourism Development Authority is excited about taking part in this international exhibition on an annual basis due to the exceptional networking opportunities it offers to individuals working in the tourism industry. It provides a platform for industry professionals to meet, communicate, exchange experiences, learn about best practices, and contribute to the growth of the economy at both global and national levels.

Visitors can expect various interactive activities and programs at the pavilion, including a training service for tourist guides. This training will help guides obtain accredited licenses after completing courses in Arabic and English, which will be offered for the first time during the Arabian Travel Market.
