SGMC Health recently honored Kimberle Strawder, RN, with the health system hero award for May. Strawder, who has been with SGMC Health for 26 years, currently works in outpatient nursing. According to Jessica Musgrove, Director of Surgical Services, Strawder exhibits qualities such as warmth, kindness, attention to detail, and dedication to her patients, peers, and the organization that make her a health system hero.
During the award ceremony, Strawder was also recognized with the system’s Safe Care award for her dedication to excellence in ensuring the health system’s commitment to safety and high reliability principles. Known for always putting the patient first and her unmatched commitment to accuracy, Strawder received a standing ovation from those in attendance.
