Sevilla Bids Farewell to Iconic Captain Sergio Ramos as Contract Expires

Sevilla has officially announced that Sergio Ramos will not be renewing his contract with the club, which has expired. Ramos rejoined Sevilla in September 2023 and played in 37 matches last season, scoring seven goals.

The club released a statement thanking Ramos for his commitment, leadership, and dedication during his time with the team. They wish him luck in his future endeavors. Ramos will bid farewell publicly on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the press room of the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, alongside club president José María del Nido Carrasco.

Ramos’s next destination is uncertain, but there are rumors linking him to a move to Major League Soccer. San Diego FC is said to be leading the race to secure his services.
