After five years of attempting to claim the title, an Idaho man has finally broken the Guinness World Record for the most water moved by the hands in 30 seconds. David Rush, a serial record-breaker, had to adhere to strict guidelines and use only his hands to transfer water from a bucket to a pitcher placed 1 meter (3.28 feet) away. Despite facing disqualifications due to minor infractions such as the pitcher of water moving slightly or using a non-approved surface, Rush persevered and successfully transferred 3,323 milliliters (112.4 ounces) in the allotted time. This achievement brought his total number of concurrently-held records to 174, with a goal of reaching 181 to surpass fellow serial record-breaker Silvio Sabba’s total of 180.
