Sentara Health Invests $107 Million in New Southside, Virginia Hospital to Boost Community Healthcare Services

Sentara Health recently announced plans to invest over $107 million in a new hospital in Southside, Virginia. The decision to increase the initial investment from $70 million demonstrates the company’s commitment to providing quality healthcare for residents in the region for years to come.

According to Brian Zwoyer, President of Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital, the new facility will not only enhance healthcare services but also contribute to the overall well-being of the community. The new Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital will offer a range of services including general surgery, intensive care, emergency care, operating rooms, and more.
