Seed World Goes Global: A New Chapter in Unifying the Agricultural Industry

Uniting the Global Seed Industry under a Single Brand

The Seed World brand has undergone significant changes in the past few months, and the editors are feeling optimistic about the new direction. According to Aimee Nelson, editor of Seed World U.S., this change is a natural fit for all their brands. She believes that bringing everything under the Seed World name will enhance recognition and credibility in their sector. By unifying their brands, they aim to establish a cohesive connection with their readers on a global scale.

Nelson also mentioned that this change will help the editors adopt a more global perspective when addressing agricultural issues. Agriculture is not limited to local boundaries, and having everything under one umbrella will enable them to access information from across countries and continents with ease. Senior editor Marc Zienkiewicz of Seed World Canada echoes this sentiment, stating that it gives the brand a global feel.

Marcel Bruins, editorial director of Seed World Europe, expressed his excitement about being part of one big family now. He noted that while they were already connected, it wasn’t always clear to their audience. However, with everything under one big banner and platform, the brand feels more unified and connected.

Elena Mansur O’Dowd, associate editor of Seed World LATAM emphasized the importance of connectivity within the agricultural world. She stated that all stakeholders in the region need to feel like they are part of the conversation and be able to give their perspective and comments. With agriculture being so interconnected globally, it’s crucial for everyone to be involved.

Madeleine Baerg, director of content highlighted the significance of connecting editors, geographies, and regions within the sector. She pointed out that while it may seem vastly diverse on a surface level; in reality it’s quite small and interconnected. The goal is to provide accessible content that resonates with audiences on a local, regional and global scale while ensuring people get what they want in their specific regions.

Overall, these changes signify an important step towards establishing Seed World as a global player in the agricultural industry while fostering greater collaboration between its various brands and regions.
