Scottish Football League’s Fluctuations: Rangers and Dunfermline Athletic Navigate Stadium and Wage Challenges while Kilmarnock and Aberdeen Look for More Signings

Latest Rumors: Rangers in Advanced Talks to Sign Igamane, Open to Selling Cantwell

The Scottish FA has offered Rangers the use of Hampden Park as a venue after Ibrox Stadium may be unavailable for the first month of the season due to a delay in building supplies. Meanwhile, the team is reportedly open to offers for midfielder Todd Cantwell, with speculation linking James Tavernier and Connor Goldson to former manager Steven Gerrard’s club in Saudi Arabia, Al-Ettifaq.

On the other hand, Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes is in search of “two or three” more signings ahead of a Europa League qualifier against Cercle Brugge next month. Aberdeen may need to find a replacement for Junior Hoilett, who is unlikely to be fit for the start of the season after sustaining an injury while on international duty with Canada.

Dunfermline Athletic manager James McPake has expressed concerns about the club’s ability to compete with other teams in terms of player wages in the Championship. In addition, Hibernian is looking to secure a loan deal for Club Brugge goalkeeper Josef Bursik, who joined the Belgian club from Stoke City earlier this year.
