Science for All: Viva Science SA Celebrates Research and Education

UT Health San Antonio is hosting a free family event called ‘Viva Science SA’ at the Witte Museum this Saturday.

On Saturday, the Witte Museum will host UT Health San Antonio’s annual “Viva Science SA” event. This free and open-to-the-public event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and aims to educate, engage and excite the San Antonio community about science in an entertaining way.

The event will showcase academic research posters presented by middle school, high school, undergraduate and graduate students on various health and science topics. Additionally, there will be interactive science booths with hands-on activities for all ages, as well as displays of science-themed artwork. Live entertainment, music, and food trucks will also be available for attendees to enjoy.

Viva Science SA was created to promote STEM programs and make science accessible to everyone. It is part of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences’ initiative to encourage science education. For more information on this exciting event, visit vivasciencesa.com.
