Scarlett Johansson, the beloved actress, has officially confirmed that she will be starring in the next installment of the “Jurassic World” movie. The film is directed by Gareth Edwards and written by David Koepp and will be a standalone story separate from the original trilogy.
Johansson expressed her excitement for the project, stating that she has been a huge fan of “Jurassic Park” since she was a child and cannot wait to be a part of the franchise. She praised the script, calling it incredible and shared that she has been trying to join the “Jurassic World” franchise for over a decade.
The film will feature an ensemble cast, including Jonathan Bailey, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Mahershala Ali, Rupert Friend, Luna Blaise, and David Iacono. The production will use locations in Thailand as well as studios in Malta and the U.K. Steven Spielberg and Frank Marshall are returning as executive producers for the film.
