Netflix has announced that it will no longer be compatible with older Apple TV devices starting from August. The streaming platform has already begun notifying users of the upcoming change, which will affect second and third generation Apple TV models. These devices were released in 2010 and 2012 and offer HD resolutions of 720p and 1,080p, as well as features such as subtitles, alternative audio, and 5.1 surround sound. Users have been informed of this change via email, and it’s important to note that these devices will no longer be able to access Netflix content from their iPhone on a larger television screen.
